#64 Suppose an investment doubles in value every 5 years. This year the investment is work $12,480. How much will it be worth 10 years from now? How much was it worth 5 years ago?

Answer: I know you have been thinking exponents, exponents, but remember to solve each problem with the parameters given in the problem. So, here we go.

Hence in 5 years you have $24,960 and in 10 years you will have $49,920. To see what you had 5 years ago divide 12,480 by 2 you had $ 6,240.

Reminder: Review multiplication and division with exponents with the same base.
